One of the best things to love about Summer Lodge is that we’re always working to improve the lives of our residents. We offer new and renovated interiors, giving you the home sweet apartment that you deserve!
Our Swimming Pool
Doing laps, cooling off in the water, or just floating comfortably—time at the pool sure is relaxing! We have a wonderful swimming pool just for our residents. Though our pool is not yet open for the year, our pool is well worth the wait.
Local Landmarks
Summer Lodge is close to a ton of cool local landmarks. When everything returns to normal, you can visit interesting spots like The Princess Theatre, The Historic Railroad Depot, and The Cook Museum of Natural Science!
Pet-Friendly Apartments
Our cats and dogs make everyday life so much better! Your cuddly companions are welcome at Summer Lodge’s pet-friendly apartments. Simply contact us for approval and pay the pet deposit.
Our Pet Park
We want to make sure all of our residents are happy—even the dogs! That’s why we have an on-site pet park. Right now, if you visit, you must stay six feet away from your neighbors at all times. The park is subject to close at any time.

Hoping to explore the great outdoors? Decatur is home to several sensational parks, like Wilson Morgan Park, Delano Park, and Point Mallard Park, the last of which was the subject of a Summer Lodge local spotlight! Though we should all follow the rules of social distancing, you can always add a visit to these amazing nearby parks to your to-do list.
