Did you hear the good news? The Decatur-Morgan County Entrepreneurial Center was recently ranked number one statewide by Business Alabama in two categories!
Ranked Number One
The Decatur-Morgan County Entrepreneurial Center, known as The E-Center, was established in 2010. Since then, it has grown and expanded its reach in North Alabama. First of all, it was ranked number one for the number of successful companies, also called graduates, from the business incubator.
Second of all, it ranked number one for the number of clients served by cities of the same size. According to their website, the center typically serves about 40 or more clients at any given time.
More About The E-Center
Not sure what a business incubator is? The E-Center’s mission is to encourage, stimulate and enable entrepreneurs and small businesses through a variety of services. For example, the center offers business coaching and guidance throughout the process of launching a business.
In addition, entrepreneurs can rent office space by the hour, day or month. The E-Center also provides continued education through ongoing courses and programs. Small businesses can find support and assistance with everything from financing to marketing.

The Decatur-Morgan County Entrepreneurial Center is located at 1629 Fourth Ave. in Decatur. Its hours are Monday through Thursday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday hours are 8 a.m. to noon.
