Obstacle courses. Zip lines. Paint ball shooting range. Climbing walls. These are just a few of the many activities that await at GoFAR USA Park in Decatur this spring and summer.
Kids will love the natural playscape area complete with climbing walls, including one that’s 24 feet! There is an obstacle course designed for guests 13 and younger as well. But the grown-ups needn’t worry.
There is plenty of fun for big kids too. For instance, there is a military-style obstacle course with tougher challenges as well as four-and-a-half miles of hilly trails through the forest.
You can also bring and ride your own bike on the trails or rent a fat-tire mountain bike from GoFAR USA Park in Decatur. Click here to find out more about bike rentals and other add-ons—plus general admission pricing.

Get crazy with a game of human foosball or test new athletic skills with a game of gaga ball. Wondering what in the world gaga ball is?
Basically, it’s a gentler version of dodge ball. It’s played in an octagonal ring with a soft foam ball. Players try to hit opponents below the knees while avoiding getting hit themselves. It’s a fast-paced, fun-filled game of dodging, tossing, running and jumping.
“Get Out and Play” at GoFAR by registering for the “GoFAR Forest 4 & 2 Miler.” The race course starts on a wide gravel path before turning into dirt trails. Some are flat. Some are a little hilly and others might be rocky—but all of them wind through the forest!
The race is set for Saturday, May 14th, starting at 8 a.m. Register before April 29th for the lowest fees and a T-shirt. Click here for more information and to register.
